Arrive at King Khalid International Airport. On arrival at Riyadh, you will be transferred to your hotel in Riyadh. Riyadh’s blend of medieval and millennial makes for a beguiling cultural union one where Arabia’s first roots can be traced, and where its bold future can be envisioned. The city’s fascinating, centuries-old history can be found within its atmospheric souqs, compelling museums, and ancient architecture, but it’s also a modern metropolis, with glittering high-rises and a burgeoning contemporary art scene. Breakfast at your Hotel. We start our tour of mystic Riyadh by visiting the National Museum. The primary custodian of Saudi national heritage and culture, it is a place of learning and discovery that hosts a unique collection of artifacts and covers the whole history of the Arabian Peninsula right up to modern times. After that, we headed to the nearby Murrabba Palace which was the royal residence where King Abdulaziz hosted his court. The palace was named after its square 40 by 40-meter shape and is now one of the city’s main museums. Adjacent to the palace, a modern building hosts a collection of King Abdulaziz’s items which we will tour briefly. These places illustrate the heart of the birth of the Saudi nation.
